នេះជាការបង្ហាញពីទិដ្ឋភាពនៃការប្រើប្រាស់កម្មវិធី AngkorOne Mobile 1.0 នៅលើ Emulator របស់ក្រុមហ៊ុន Nokia ។

នេះ​គឺជា​កម្មវិធី​សម្រាប់​ទូ​ស័​ព្ទ​ដៃ​ដែល​ខ្ញុំ​បាន​បង្កើត​និង​ឱ្យ​ឈ្មោះ​ថា Khmer RSS Reader (KRR)​។ វា​ជា​កម្មវិធី j2me តួច​មួយ​ដែល​អាច​ដំណើរការលើ​ទូរ​ស័​ព្ទ​ដៃ​ទ្រ​ទ្រ​ង់​បច្ចេកវិទ្យា​ចា​វា (Java Technology)​។ ខ្ញុំ​សាកល្បង​បង្កើត​កម្មវិធី​នេះ​ឡើង​ខណៈពេលដែល​ខ្ញុំ​ធ្វើការ​ស្វែង​យល់​ពី​ការ​ប្រើប្រាស់ J2ME ដើម្បីទាញ​យក​ទិន្ន​ន័យ​ពី​បណ្តាញ​RSS​នៅក្នុង​វ៉ិបសាយ​។ កម្មវិធី​អាន RSS ជា​ភាសា​ខ្មែរ (Khmer RSS Reader) នេះ​អភិវឌ្ឍ​ឡើង​ដោយ​ប្រើប្រាស់ Open Source Library មួយ​សម្រាប់​ភាសា J2ME មាន​ឈ្មោះថា J4ME រួម​ផ្សំ​ជាមួយនឹង​ការប្រើប្រាស់​វិធីសាស្ត្រ​នៃ Rendering Engine សម្រាប់​អក្សរ​ខ្មែរ (Khmer Rendering Engine) ព្រម​ទាំង Open Source Libray មួយ​ទៀត​ហៅថា kXML សម្រាប់​ធ្វើ​ទំនាក់ទំនង​ទៅកាន់ RSS​។ J4ME បាន​ផ្តល់​នូ​វ​រូបរាង Interface ស្រស់​ស្អា​ត់​សម្រាប់ក​ម្ម​វិធីជា​ភាសា​J2ME រីឯ Khmer Rendering Engine ធ្វើការ render អក្សរ​ខ្មែរ​ជា​យូ​នី​កូដ​ហើយ​បង្ហាញ​នៅលើ Interface នៃ​កម្មវិធី​។ ដោយឡែក kXML ត្រូវបាន​ប្រើ​ជា​ចំបង​សម្រាប់ទាញ​យក​ទិន្ន​ន័​យ​តាម​បណ្តាញ RSS ។ ជាល​ទ្ធ​ផល កម្មវិធី Khmer RSS Reader (Version ១.០) មាន​ល​ទ្ធភាព​អាច​ទាញ​យក​ទិន្ន​ន័​យ​ព័​ត៌មាន​ជា​យូ​នី​កូដ​ខ្មែរ (Khmer Unicode) ព្រម​ជាមួយនឹង​ការបង្ហាញ​ព័ត៌មាន​ទាំងនោះ​ជា​អក្សរ​ខ្មែរ​ទៀ​ត​ផង​។ ជាមួយនឹង​Version ដំបូង​នេះ ការ​បង្ហាញអក្សរ​ខ្មែរ​នៅលើ​ទូរ​ស័​ព្ទដៃ ពិតជា​មិនទាន់​បានល្អ​ឥត​ខ្ចោះ​នៅឡើយ​ទេ ប៉ុន្តែ​វា​អាច​ជួយ​ឱ្យ​យើង​មើល​ព័ត៌មាន​ជា​ភាសា​ខ្មែរ​នៅលើ​ទូរ​ស័​ព្ទ​ដៃ​របស់​យើង​បាន​បើ​ទោះ​បី​ជា​ទូរ​ស័​ព្ទ​របស់​យើង​មិន​ទ្រ​ទ្រ​ង់​ភាសា​ខ្មែរ​ក៏ដោយ​។

យើង​សង្កេតឃើញថា​នៅលើ​បណ្តាញ​អ៊ី​ន​ធើ​ណេត​នាពេល​សព្វថ្ងៃ​នេះ មាន​វ៉ិបសាយ ក៏ដូចជា​ប្លុក​ផ្សេងៗ​បាន​ប្រើប្រាស់​អក្សរ​ខ្មែរ ពិសេស​គឺ​ខ្មែរ​យូ​នី​កូដ​នេះ​តែម្តង ដែល​ញ៉ាំង​ឱ្យ​គេ​អាច​បង្ហាញ​និង​មើល​ព័ត៌មាន​ជា​ភាសា​ខ្មែរ​។ ជាក់ស្តែង​វ៉ិបសាយ​ល្បីៗ​ដែល​ផ្តល់​ព័ត៌មាន​ជា​ភាសា​ខ្មែរ​និង​អក្សរ​ខ្មែរ​មានដូចជា​៖ វ៉ិបសាយ​វិទ្យុ​អាស៊ីសេរី (RFA), វ៉ិបសាយ​វិទ្យុ​សម្លេង​សហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក (VOA), វ៉ិបសាយ​វិទ្យុ​បារាំង​អន្តរជាតិ (RFI), វ៉ិបសាយ​វិទ្យុ​អេ​ប៊ី​ស៊ី​អូស្ត្រាលី (ABC Australia), និង​វ៉ិបសាយ​កោះ​សន្តិភាព (Kohsantepheap Daily) ជាដើម​។ ទ​ន្ទឹ​ម​នឹងនេះ វ៉ិបសាយ​ទាំងអស់​នោះ​ក៏បាន​ប្រើប្រាស់​នូ​វ RSS (Really Simple Syndication) ដែល​ជា​មធ្យោបាយ​មួយ​សម្រាប់​វ៉ិបសាយ​នានា​ធ្វើការ​ចែកចាយ​ព័​ត៌មាន​របស់ខ្លួន​ដោយ​ស្វ័​យ​ប្រវត្តិ​។ តាម​រយៈ RSS យើង​អាច​ទទួលបាន​នូ​វ​ចំណងជើងព័​ត៌មាន ព័ត៌មាន​សង្ខេប ព្រម​ទាំង​ខ្សែ​ភ្ជាប់​ទៅកាន់​អត្ថបទ​ព័ត៌មាន​ទាំងនោះ​នៅលើ​វ៉ិ​ប​សាយ​ដើម​របស់​វា​ទៀ​ត​ផង​ដោយ​ប្រើប្រាស់​កុំ​ព្យូ​ទ័​រ ឬ​ទូរ​ស័​ព្ទដៃ​។ ដោយសា​រទូរ​ស័ព្ទ​ដៃ​ភាគច្រើន​មិនទាន់​ទ្រ​ទ្រ​ង់​អក្សរ​ខ្មែរ (​មិនមែន​ទូរ​ស័ព្ទអ​ក្សរ​ខ្មែរ​) ដូច្នេះ​ការទាញ​យក​ព័​ត៌មាន​ជា​អក្សរ​ខ្មែរ​ពី​បណ្តាញ RSS នឹង​ត្រូវ​បង្ហាញ​ត្រឹមតែ​ជា​រូប​បួន​ជ្រុង​ប៉ុណ្ណោះ​។ ដូច​នេះ អ្នកប្រើប្រាស់​ទូរ​ស័ព្ទ​ដៃ​អាច​ប្រើប្រាស់​កម្មវិធី Khmer RSS Reader (KRR) ដើម្បី​ទាញ​យក​និង​មើល​ព័ត៌មាន​ជា​ភាសា​ខ្មែរ​នៅលើ​ទូរ​ស័​ព្ទ​ដៃ​របស់​ពួកគេ​។

ខ្ញុំ​សង្ឃឹមថាក​ម្ម​វិធីតូ​ច​មួយ​នេះ​នឹង​បានជា​ប្រ​យោ​ជ​ន៏​ដល់​អ្នកប្រើប្រាស់​ទូរ​ស័​ព្ទ​ដៃ​ក្នុង​ការតាមដាន​ព័​ត៌មាន​ពី​វ៉ិ​ប​សាយ​នានា​ទាំង​ភាសា​អង់គ្លេស និង​ភាសា​ខ្មែរ​។ ទាញ​យក​កម្មវិធី​នៅ​ទី​នេះ ។

Example: To be a good web developer, I am inspired to delve into JQuerry and AJAX.

Example: The website is in the progress of development. It will be launched to public down the road.

I. Method #1: Use shortcut

We need to work with the shortcut of Gtalk (on Desktop or on Start Menu) and follow the below steps.
1. Right click –> properties. It will show the properties window of the Gtalk shortcut.
2. Add a space with the text as “/nomutext” to the target section as illustrated in the figure below.

3. Click Apply and then click Ok to close the window properties.

That’s all for this method. Now let’s double click on the shortcut of gtalk four times. As the result, four gtalk instances will run for us, see figure 2.

II. Method #2: use Command Line

1. Start –> run  –> type cmd
2. Go to the directory where the Gtalk installed. For example, C:\Program Files\Google\Google Talk. Figure 3 illustrated how to reach the directory.

3. Type the command as “Googletalk /nomutex“, see figure 4, and enter.

After entering this command, a Gtalk instance will run immediately.

4. Do as step 3 multi times will cause multi instances of Gtalk run in your pc. For instance, we run the command three times to get three instances of Gtalk running in the same pc (see figure 5).

I. Run Two Skype Accounts.

In this tip, the requirements are Skype versiont 4.0 or later and two skype accounts.
1. First, login to your first skype account.
2. Look for the folder named Phone by going into the location  where the Skype application has been installed. For example: C:\Program Files\Skype\Phone. In the folder “Phone“, you’ll see file Skype.exe. Here, we need to create its shortcut which will be placed at Desktop. Right click on the file Skype.exe and choose Send to –> Desktop (create shortcut). See the figure below.

3. With the recently created shortcut on Desktop, Right click on it and then choose properties (Figure 2).

Then we will see a properties window open as shown in figure 3.

Next, we need to type a space continued by “/secondary” to the target section, see figure 4, and click Apply –> OK to close the window.

4. Finally, double click on the recently shortcut of Skype and then another instance of Skype will run. Now we are able to use two skype instaces at the same time and in the same pc. Enjoy!!!!

II. Run two Yahoo Messengers

In order to run two instances of yahoo messenger, we need to work with Registry of the window. The way we will do here can be called as registry hack.
1. Go to Start –> Run, type “Regedit“, and then click OK to launch Registry editor of the window (See figure 1).

2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER –> Software –> Yahoo –> Pager –> Test.

3. Right click on any free space and do as illustrated in the figure below.

4. Rename as “ Plural“, see figure 3, to the recently created Registry Key.

5. Double click on Plural and give the value 1 to Value data as in the figure below.

6. Finally, launch yahoo twice, then we will see the two login screens appear for us to login. If we launch it multi times, then multi login screens will launch. It means that we can use multiple yahoo messengers in the same PC (not only two).

KSMS is one of the research projects, in phase II, at PAN Localization Cambodia (PLC), funded by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC). It is aimed at providing Cambodian users an application to use SMS (Short Message Service) in Khmer Script. That means it is able to display Khmer script correctly according to the feature of Khmer language. In addition, the application provides a friendly user interface and ability to operate in most of cellular phones. This is because KSMS has been developed by utilizing j2me (Java 2 Micro Edition), a Java technology optimized for mobile application. Below is a screen shot of KSMS running on Nokia mobile phone.

In order to compose Khmer short message, firstly, user needs to know the keypad layout using in KSMS. Well, KSMS’s keypad layout is not the same as Khmer mobile from Nokia Company. Anyway this layout is applied to the 2-Key Press input method which will be mention later. How does the keypad of KSMS look like? Here it is (see figure below).

The reasons why this layout is suggested different from Nokia will be demonstrate in the next post.

KSMS uses 2-Key press as its input method. 2-key press means that user needs to press two keys successively in order to specify a Khmer character. First, user presses one time on a key which contains group of characters. Then, user can press one more key whose number equal to the index of intended character. Let’s say letter NGOR (ង) is the intended character to input. Hence, user requires firstly to press key 2 in which the letter NGOR reside. Next, he/she must press key 5 which indicates the index number of letter NGOR (ង).

Moreover, KSMS also uses Smart Typing, type as spelling, to write short message in Khmer script. If user is used to Smart Typing in computer, he/she will be very easy to understand how to compose text message  in Khmer by using KSMS application.
